Dr. Justin Raanan

Dr. Justin Raanan is a Beverly Hills periodontist, born and raised in our beautiful city. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles for his undergraduate degree. He studied Anthropology Biological Science and graduated Magna Cum Laude Latin Honors with a Bachelor of Science. Early on, Dr. Raanan had a passion for dentistry. He gained acceptance to the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Through much studying, hard work, and a drive to succeed, he graduated with honors. Next, Dr. Raanan had the opportunity to specialize in the field of Periodontology. In this phase of his education and training, he attended the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine wherein he received a Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) in Oral Biology.

As a Beverly Hills Dentist, Dr. Justin Raanan is exceptionally trained in Periodontics and Dental Implants. The field of Periodontology as a whole specializes in the treatment and prevention of gum disease. Dr. Raanan is passionate about this specialized field of dentistry because so many suffer from it and are unaware of it. Dr. Steven Rifkin

Dr. Steven not only received his Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene at the University of Southern California, he also obtained his Registered Dental Hygienist license prior to even beginning dental school, earning “The patient Education Award for demonstrating the highest standards in didactic and clinical patient education.” This unique education path emboldened him to have a wealth of knowledge and experience prior to even starting dental school.

His background in dental hygiene drove Dr. Steven to always focus first on the health and function of the beautiful, aesthetic smiles he creates, realizing “all your cosmetic work, whether it be crowns or veneers, all restorations, are only as strong as the periodontal structures that support and surround them. You may have beautiful teeth, but if your occlusion, or bite, is wrong, or if your gums are unhealthy, all of this can lead to major problems.”

Currently, Dr. Steven not only strives to ensure that each and every one of his patients has a personalized treatment plan tailored to their specific wants and needs, but also makes sure that the patients themselves become “mini dental experts” as well. He wants to empower his patients to be educated about their oral and systemic health, so that the treatment decisions that are made are based upon a thorough thought-through ongoing discussion. Although patients fly from around the globe seeking Dr. Steven’s aesthetic eye and expertise, it is his precision, attention to detail, and hard won knowledge base that keep patients coming to him.

Dr. Robert Rifkin

Over a period spanning decades, Dr. Robert G. Rifkin has earned a reputation as one of the most renowned cosmetic dentists in Beverly Hills and indeed the world over. He is credited by many of his peers and colleagues as a pioneer in the field of dentistry as a whole and an innovator in the practice of aesthetic dentistry.

Following this, he has gone on to become the sole trusted dental practitioner for some of the biggest names in entertainment, sports, politics, and business. As such, he is the man behind some of the most iconic smiles in history, including Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Magic Johnson, Janet Jackson, Reese Witherspoon, and Megan Fox, to name just a few.

Dr. Jeff Waterman

A dual graduate of UCLA and the USC School of Dentistry, Dr. Waterman’s clinical background is extensive. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Pathology, a Past President of the Beverly Hills Academy of Dentistry, and has shared his knowledge with the next generation of providers as a former instructor for dentists and hygienists at USC.

While he is highly skilled in all aspects of periodontal therapy, he is specifically sought out for his rare expertise in Osteonecrosis of the Jaw. His authority in the field is further recognized by his frequent work as an expert witness in dental malpractice cases. While Dr. Waterman jokes that he might struggle to remember a name, he never forgets a patient’s dental anatomy or the nuances of their treatment plan.

Outside of the office, Dr. Waterman is a man of diverse passions. A lifelong lover of nature, he grew up collecting insects and butterflies and now spends his free time hiking with his family and his beloved Golden Retrievers. A former multi-instrumentalist who played the piano, guitar, and accordion (minus the monkey and cup!), he still finds joy in the timeless sounds of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald.
